Stages of the treatment plan:

There is a set of stages and procedures for the plan on which the implementing agencies are based. Each stage of the treatment includes a set of specific procedures, which we list as follows:

1- The first stage: interview and evaluation, which includes an initial interview and evaluation of the inmate subject to certain conditions, before he is selected for treatment by the committee formed for this purpose.

2- The second stage: the stage of physical, addictive and psychological health assessment and comprehensive examination.

3- The third stage: the stage of detoxification, which is the stage of complete abstinence from the substance (weaning) and dealing with the physical and psychological withdrawal symptoms.

4- The fourth stage: the rehabilitation stage, which is the involvement of the inmate in psychological, religious, spiritual, cultural and social rehabilitation programs.

5- The fifth stage: the aftercare stage, which is the center’s recommendations to the concerned authorities for subsequent follow-up after the completion of the treatment plan for the inmate, whether he has been released or his sentence has been terminated.
