Introduction
Compliance with the duties and tasks of the General Directorate of Civil Defense in the field of protecting souls, properties and development achievements which human is considered one of its basics. Firefighting and Rescue Department was established on 1/1/2012 in order to conform the duties, vision and mission of the General Directorate of Civil Defense.
Fire and Rescue Department was established to coordinate, organize and supervise all administrative and operational aspects for firefighting and rescue services through creation of specialized integrated system with high degree of professionalism.
The firefighting and Rescue Department consists of many specialized sections in fire and rescue field such as (Firefighting, Rescue, training, studies, research and development).
