Finance Directorate is one of the specialized directorates in the Public Security, which was established on 5 / 7 / 1958 under the name of the Accounting Branch, after it was separated from the Finance Department in the General Command of the Jordan Armed Forces. In 2020, the finances of the security agencies (public security, gendarmerie forces, civil defense) were merged to become Unified finances for the three agencies under the name of the Finance Directorate.
