Regional Training Center
About
The regional training center was established in 2009 within the center of the Family Protection Department, and was approved by the National Council for Family Affairs as a regional training center for national institutions and the countries of the region.
In order to facilitate the participation of workers in the southern departments, The Regional Training Center / South Province was established within the Family Protection Section in Karak in 2018.
In 2021, The Regional Training Center of the Family Protection Department and the Juvenile Police Department Training Center were merged
Target groups
- Workers in the Department of Family and Juvenile Protection and Public Security Directorate.
- Workers in the same field in Arab countries.
- Workers in the fields of psychiatry and forensic medicine.
- Workers in relevant governmental and non-governmental institutions.
- Social workers.
- Workers in the judicial field.
Objectives
- Conduct training on specialized theoretical and practical principles in the family protection and juvenile department.
- Provide employees the necessary knowledge and the required experiences that enable them to carry out their work with high professionalism.
- Develop worker’s skills to respond, deal, communicate, intervene, and direct their abilities and capabilities in order to achieve the concept of family security.
- Consolidate the principles, values and positive attitudes of the employees to be able to adapt to the emergency situations they face during their work.
- Determine the worker’s training needs and those who request it from governmental and non-governmental institutions.
- Develop and implement the training policy of the Family Protection and Juvenile Department.
- Prepare ,implement and develop training plans and programs in cooperation with the Training Department/Public Security Directorate.
- Develop training curriculum and manuals.
- Holding seminars and workshops related to the scope of work of the family protection and juvenile department.
- Cooperate and coordinate to implement the outcomes of the agreements concluded with partners and local and international organizations.
