CID training center 

 : about the center 

  • On 12/8/2014, the Director of Public Security approved the establishment of a specialized training center in the Criminal Investigation Department / Public Security Units Complex / Abdali (
  • On 6/4/2015, the Criminal Investigation Training Center was inaugurated pursuant the vision and mission of the Criminal Investigation Department and in accordance with the basic values ​​of training.
  • On 1/1/2020, and based on a decision to merge and the security agencies , it was decided to transfer the center to the (formerly) ex- gendarmerie music building, which contains one training hall and is not equipped for training purposes and only (3) offices.
  • At the beginning of June 2020, a development plan was drawn up to develop and modernize the center as follows:
  • On 6/14/2020, maintenance and expansion of the center was carried out, and two halls equipped with training equipment were opened, with a capacity for (20) participants for each hall.
  • At the beginning of 2021, a total maintenance was carried out, a graduation hall was established, and it was provided with the necessary training equipment, with a capacity for (50) participants.
  • At the beginning of April / 2021, internal health facilities and a warehouse for training equipment with an area of ​​(10 m2) were created.
  • At the beginning of February / 2021, a caravan number (1) attached to the center was established and office was set up for both the training branch and the studies branch due to the limited space of the center.
  • Work is underway to establish a specialized computer laboratory to train participants in specialized courses in digital evidence, cyber security and cybercrime, activating the examination system and evaluating lecturers electronically.
