Conditions

  • Provide the documents required to complete this service.

Documents

  • Existence of schemes sealed by the Civil Defense design  engineering schemes (original or photocopy)
  • A letter from the authority granting the occupancy permission / Municipality of Amman, Municipalities, Aqaba Commission / original copy.

Procedures

  • The receipt of an official letter from the authority granting the occupancy permit to the Prevention Department or its sections in the external directorates, requesting a recommendation to approve the granting of the occupancy permit.

  • The date of detection and notification of the person concerned is determined by a text message or a phone call. The inspection officer inspects the facility and matches it with the sealed plans approved by the Civil Defense and writes an examination report.

  • In the event that the facility conforms to the requirements, a recommendation is made to grant an occupancy permit, to pay the required fees, and to send the letter to the donor.

  • In the event that the facility does not comply with the requirements, a recommendation is made not to grant an occupancy permit, and a copy of the inspection report that includes the required recommendations is handed over to the recipient of the service.

Fees

  • According to the amended system for collecting the allowance for the services of the General Directorate of Civil Defense No. (128) for the year / Annex (1) of 2015.

  • 2 working days max.

  • A letter of recommendation approving the granting of an occupancy permit, attached with the inspection report Document Validity Period: The document loses its validity if any change is made to the building.
