The following two images represent the accreditation certificate obtained from the Jordanian Standards and Metrology Organization / Accreditation Unit, and this certificate means that the Department of Laboratories and Hazardous Materials operates within the international standard ISO 17025 system for testing and calibration laboratories, and this includes administrative and technical procedures to ensure the provision of high quality service for service recipients.
the Department of Laboratories and Hazardous Materials has obtained accreditation in the field of examination only, that is, it performs physical, chemical and mechanical laboratory tests on dry powders, portable extinguishers, rubber and linen fire hoses, and does not perform any operations for laboratory devices and equipment, and some laboratory tests have been approved conducted by the department and indicated in another approved document called the scope of accreditation, as shown in the following two pictures:
