• The main center: Traffic Planning Branch / Institutional Development Department / Traffic Department.
• Alternative places: Traffic section in the governorates and the Department of highway Patrols.

Conditions

• The applicant must be the owner of the vehicle personally, or his representative from among his relatives (father, brother, or son).
• If the applicant is on behalf of the owner or his company, he must bring an official letter of authorization from them authorizing him to obtain this permit.
• The description of use on the license to own the used semi-trailer should be: Lowboy.
• If the vehicle is foreign, it is required to show the customs entry voucher or to bring an Arabic translation from an accredited translation office of the acquisition license to prove that the semi-trailer is used as Lowboy.
• This permit is granted only for indivisible loads

Documents

• A copy of a valid license to own the locomotive head and the semi-trailer (lowboy).
• Cargo specifications: (total width, total height).
• A statement document for the weight of the load.
• A permit from the Ministry of Public Works and Housing in case the total weight of the vehicle exceeds (60) tons.

Procedures

• Filling out the service form by the recipient of the service or his authorized representative.
• The employee checks the submitted papers and the data contained in the form.
• Filling out the permit by the employee with the required data.
• Granting the permit stating all the conditions, signed and stamped with the official seal.
