The traffic report of Public Security Radio today indicated that the preventive winter technical inspection process is continuing in all governorates of the Kingdom by traffic departments and their patrols working in the field.

Representatives of the Traffic and Patrols Departments stated that 50,000 vehicles have undergone a technical inspection (winter campaign) since its launch until Sunday morning, and that all valid vehicles have been provided with a sticker that shows the vehicle  have passed the examination, while drivers of vehicles that lack any of the safety requirements are given notice to prepare the vehicle and reviewing any of the traffic departments’ centers, without violation, if they were repaired within a week.

The two delegates confirmed that the traffic patrols operating in the field deal with their full capacity with all the morning observations to prevent obstacles and facilitate the citizens.

The traffic departments  added that the patrols operating in the field are still dealing with some serious violations and addressing them in order to preserve lives and property, as they indicated that during the weekend, they dealt with violations that threaten public safety, such as loading passengers in unspecified places (the back box of cargo vehicles) and driving vehicles without obtaining a driving license, in addition to setting speeds of up to 180 km per hour, and crossing the central area from other than the designated places, the most prominent violations that could have led to accidents with painful human losses.
