Public Security Directorate called for the necessity of staying away from the sides of valleys and places where floods form, especially in the southern regions.

The Directorate stressed the need to be careful when driving, especially since thunderstorms of rain are expected as rain may be heavy at times according to weather forecasts issued, indicating to the need to stay away from water bodies to avoid the risk of falling, and not to risk crossing them on foot or by vehicle.

The Directorate called for the necessity of following safe practices when using heating devices, not leaving them burning when sleeping, and providing proper ventilation from time to time.

PSD stressed not to hesitate to call the unified emergency phone 911 if the need arises.
