The Director of Public Security, Major General Dr. AbeidAllah Maaitah, received in the Directorate’s HQ today the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to Jordan, Dr. Bertram von Moltke, and his accompanying delegation.

During the meeting, the two parties discussed ways to enhance police cooperation between the two friendly countries, especially in the field of capacity building, raising the efficiency of security and humanitarian services, and exchanging modern police experiences, techniques and knowledge.

On the sidelines of the meeting, the Director of Public Security and the German Ambassador witnessed the delivery of six vehicles provided by the German government and the Federal Police Command to the Public Security Directorate, equipped with the modern equipment and technologies necessary to work with crime scene detachments in managing laboratories forensics.

During the meeting, Major General Al-Maaitah stressed the importance of the existing and extended cooperation with the German side, especially in the field of building training and technical capabilities, and exchanging police experiences aimed at serving society, expressing his thanks to the German government and its role in supporting efforts to combat crime and enhance security and peace.

In turn, the German ambassador stressed the importance of the Jordanian role in maintaining regional security and stability, indicating to the German government's keenness to deepen cooperation with the Public Security Directorate and support its efforts through training programs aimed at enhancing capabilities and providing modern technical equipment.
