The Director of Public Security, Major General Dr. AbeidAllah Maaitah, met today, Monday, in his office, the US Ambassador to Jordan, Yael Lambert.

During the meeting, the two parties discussed ways to enhance police and security cooperation between the two friendly countries, especially in the field of building technical and training capabilities and exchanging experiences.

Major General Al-Maaitah stressed the importance of cooperation between the Public Security Directorate and its counterparts from the police and security agencies in the United States of America, which comes in the context of the strategic and historical relations between the two friendly countries.

For her part, Lambert praised the distinguished level reached by the Public Security Directorate, expressing her country's keenness to strengthen cooperation between the security and law enforcement agencies in the United States and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, in a way that contributes to enhancing security in the two friendly countries.
