The Director of Public Security, Maj. Gen. Hussein Al-Hawatmeh, met in his office today, the British Ambassador to Jordan, Bridget Brind, and her accompanying delegation.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed ways to enhance cooperation between the Public Security Directorate and the British counterpart.

Al-Hawatmeh stressed the importance of enhancing cooperation between the two sides, especially with regard to exchanging experiences, building capabilities, and improving the security service provided to citizens.

For her part, Brind praised the advanced level reached by the Public Security Agency and its security, police and humanitarian duties, expressing her country's keenness to strengthen cooperation in these areas, in a way that contributes to serving the two friendly countries.
