Director of Public Security Maj. Gen. Hussein Al-Hawatmeh inaugurated the Expansion and Modernization Project in Command and Control (911), inside the Public Security Directorate today.

During his visit to the Directorate of Operations and Control, Maj. Gen. Al-Hawatmeh stressed the importance of the role embodied by the Directorate, in linking and coordinating between public security units and formations, and as a vocal point  between public security and all national and service institutions.

Al-Hawatmeh praised the work of the Directorate and the efforts of its members, in responding to the call of citizens and serving them, and in enhancing coordination and integration during all daily and emergency operations and duties.

Maj. Gen. Al-Hawatmeh, in the presence of his assistant for operations and training, was briefed by the Director of Operations and Control Directorate, in which he outlined the most prominent duties, tasks and services that are provided, and the most important systems operating in it to receive and respond to communications, automated control systems and drones, and modern communication techniques that were introduced in addition to the expansion The quality of the operating rooms, which made a quantum leap in improving the services provided.

Al-Hawatmeh was briefed also on the facilities, equipment, and modern electronic and operational systems that were added and developed in the Directorate's building, which came within the modernization and development phase to support operations.
