  Public Security Directorate mourns W.O. Ahmed Marawan Ahmed Thabet.

PSD spokesman said that a security force arrested the driver of a cargo vehicle who caused the death for traffic police man while on duty.

The spokesman stated that this evening, while the traffic police man was carrying out its official duty in Zarqa Governorate, the deceased tried to stop the truck whose driver was found to be wanted.

The spokesman added that when the driver was stopped, he tried to flee the place as the traffic police man pursue him causing the ran over accident and the death for the traffic police man.

The spokesman confirmed that by following up the investigation and searching for the driver, an investigation team was able to locate him a short while ago in one of the areas of the northern desert. A police patrol dispatched the place and arrested him and another person who was with him while he fled, the suspect will be referred to the judiciary after the investigations are completed.
