Public Security Directorate and the Integrity and Anti-Corruption Commission signed, today, Wednesday, in the Directorate’s building, a memorandum of understanding aimed at enhancing cooperation in the field of communication, information technology, and electronic connectivity.

The agreement was signed by the Director of Public Security, Major General Dr. AbeidAllah Maaitah, and the Chairman of the Integrity and Anti-Corruption Commission, Dr. Muhannad Hegazy.

Major General Al- Maaitah stated that this agreement represents an extension of the Directorate’s partnership with all state institutions, the most important of which is the extended partnership with the Integrity and Anti-Corruption Commission, which comes within the framework of the permanent endeavor to consolidate the principle of the rule of law.

The Director of Public Security stressed the Directorate’s keenness to facilitate the work of the Authority and enable it to perform its important roles by facilitating its access to information necessary for the Authority’s work in terms of consolidating and applying integrity standards with transparency and fairness in accordance with legislation.

For his part, Dr. Muhannad Hegazy expressed his thanks and appreciation for the great efforts made by the Public Security Directorate, praising the distinguished level it has reached in the field of using modern technology and the ability to provide important data and information to apply justice.

Hegazy stressed that Anti- corruption is a national responsibility that falls on all institutions and individuals, and that Public Security Directorate is one of the most important partners in this field through the support provided by the Directorate to enable the Authority to carry out its work and achieve its goals.
