Many security, humanitarian and traffic reports were dealt with during the last weather conditions that the kingdom witnesses.

Lieutenant Colonel Mohammad Abu Orabi, head of the Operations and Control Division, added in his speech to AMEN FM, that the Operations and Control Directorate raised its readiness and activated the plans for dealing with the weather conditions in which the directorate respond to approximately 20,000 calls, which resulted in approximately 6,500 reports .

Lieutenant Colonel Abu Orabi added that most of these reports focused on dealing with rescue and evacuation cases, assisting residents of homes and users of vehicles stuck in rainwater and torrents, and evacuating them to safe places, stressing that Public Security Directorate had warned several times before.

Many reports were dealt with in partnership and in coordination with the relevant ministries and institutions, such as the Ministry of Public Works, the local administration, the Municipality of the Capital, and the Electricity Company.

The Operations and Control Directorate is ready around the clock to receive any call on the 911 emergency phone, calling on citizens not to hesitate to ask for assistance when necessary.
