Public Security Directorate has renewed the warnings to citizens on the need to take utmost care during the expected weather conditions.

The Directorate confirmed that such following instructions should be followed:

  • The need to stay away from the sides of valleys and places where torrents form, and to stay away from water gathering sites, and not risk crossing the road, whether on foot or by vehicles, in the event of a high water level, especially in the south and east of the Kingdom.
  • Being attention while driving vehicles on roads during low horizontal visibility due to fog or rain.
  • Staying away from valleys, low areas whose levels may rise rapidly and suddenly, and not risk approaching them, or crossing water-collecting areas with vehicles or on foot.
  • Safe use of heating devices of all kinds, providing proper ventilation for houses from time to time, and not leaving heaters on while sleeping.
  • Cooperate with the Public Security men deployed on the roads to guide and provide assistance when needed, and do not hesitate to call the unified emergency phone 911.
