Public Security Director Major General Maaitah conveyed the greetings of His Majesty King Abdullah II, Supreme Commander of Jordan Armed Forces, to the personnel of Public Security, during his visit today to the Residence and Borders Department.
Major General Al-Maaitah praised the efforts made by the various units and formations, indicating to the qualitative competence of the Residence and Borders Department, whose border locations are entry gates to the Kingdom that reflect the good picture of Jordan's originality and civilization.
Major General Al-Maaitah stressed the need to continue developing and keeping pace with the comprehensive modern technology of electronic and digital procedures adopted internationally in the completion of transactions related to residency and borders, and to provide qualified human resources for this department to remain a distinguished model in providing the best services to citizens, visitors to the Kingdom and residents.
The Director of Public Security directed to redouble efforts during the coming period to facilitate the pilgrims from the brotherly Palestinian side, and to work for this in accordance with organizational plans that ensure the provision of humanitarian services, and the completion of transactions and procedures easily and smoothly, with an emphasis on high readiness to receive visitors to Jordan.
The Director of Public Security passed orders to the necessity of providing an appropriate work environment for personnel and maintaining coordination to implement security plans for the various border locations with partners from the civil and military state institutions operating within an integrated participatory system in security and humanitarian services and procedures.
The Director of Public Security was briefed by the Director of the Residence and Borders Department on the workflow and procedures followed to provide various services, the most prominent statistics and recorded data, and the plans used to improve the department's services.
