PSD spokesman said that the staff of the Anti-Narcotics Department continued their efforts to deal all forms of dealing with smugglers, dealers and promoters of narcotic substances in various regions of the Kingdom, and during the past 48 hours  nine people were arrested  with large quantities of narcotics and firearms in their possession.

With regard to smuggling issues, a case was dealt with at one of the northern border crossings in coordination with the Jordan customs, in the first instance, one of the drivers was arrested, Information was received that he had left the country in order to hide large quantities of narcotic pills inside his vehicle to smuggle them inside the Kingdom. He was stopped upon his arrival at the border crossing, and when the vehicle was searched, 3 kg of the deadly crystal substance and 30,000 narcotic pills were found, which were hidden in the body of the vehicle.

a person was suspected in the second case while he was coming through the same border crossing, he was searched and seized in possession of quantities of the deadly crystal substance and a quantity of narcotic pills hidden inside tobacco packs.

In the Northern Desert, after monitoring and collecting information about a person of Arab nationality who trafficked narcotic substances and distributed large quantities of them to drug dealers, he was raided, arrested, 1 kg of narcotic crystal was seized .

While two drug dealers were raided in the fourth case in the Ramtha district, one of whom was of Arab nationality, and they were arrested with 8 packages of hashish and 5,000 narcotic pills.

In the capital, two cases were dealt with. In the first, three drug-dealers were arrested after a raid on their whereabouts marijuana and four firearms were seized, one of the promoters was also arrested in  east of the capital, in possession of 6 packages of hashish.

All cases were investigated and those involved were referred to the Public Prosecutor of the State Security Court.
