West Balqa Police Directorate
On 1/7/2012, the West Balqa Police Directorate was established in the Southern Shuna District and followed to the Central Region Security Command.
The Directorate has three police stations.
- South Shuna to Karama police station.
- Deir Alla Security Center.
- The Dead Sea Security Center, to which the Prince Hussein Park point and the Sweimeh point follow.
One of the duties of the West Balqa Police Directorate is to implement all orders and instructions issued by the regional security command, to provide distinguished police services to service recipients, to develop police and security action plans from which executive plans for prevention and combating crime emerge, and to periodically evaluate police and security action plans and make the necessary amendments in their regard. Strengthening the system of knowledge, communication, creativity and innovation in individual and institutional work, optimal use of available human and material resources, guidance and supervision of all attached Public Security units, strengthening partnership and cooperation with security agencies and official institutions, and maintaining communication, cooperation and social responsibility roles with service recipients and the local community.
