The CID received 298 arrests by handling 336 cases
Criminal Investigation Department (CID) personnel have arrested 298 people in 336 cases Within their qualitative specialty during the past week.
Public Relations and Mass Media Department stated that the staff of the Criminal Investigation Department through its divisions in various governorates of the Kingdom has investigated during the past week in 336 cases within their qualitative specialty, where the investigation ended in two cases of murder and arrested the perpetrators and was referred to the judiciary in addition to receiving 46 complaints of Criminal thefts and 110 misdemeanor of theft, most of which have been discovered and the investigation is ongoing, in addition to receiving 37 cases of fraud investigated and the arrest of all the defendants.
During this period, 19 stolen vehicles were seized from 23 vehicles that were circulated. Cyber Crime Unit dealt with 89 cases and took the necessary measures. Combating Human Trafficking unit referred one case and five labor violations and took all procedures for them.
Public Relations and Mass Media Department added that through investigations into all these cases, 298 people were arrested and all of them were referred to judiciary after the investigation was completed, While others are still being searched. During the investigation with and the arrest of those involved in these cases, 18 firearms, a number of sharp instruments and various quantities of narcotics were seized.
