Public Security Director participates in the International Police Leaders Summit, titled "Global Participation Towards the Development of Intelligent Police Systems"
The of Public Security Director, Major General Fadil AlHamoud, participated in the International Police Leaders Summit, entitled Global Participatory Towards the Development of Smart Police Systems, which was held in South Korea with the participation of police leaders in 29 countries and representatives of international organizations. On the sidelines of the summit, Maj. Gen. Al-Homoud met with a number of participating police leaders and discussed ways of enhancing cooperation and opening areas for cooperation and exchanging different police experiences in the future. The Public Security Director also participated in the celebration of the 74th anniversary of South Korean Police Day, which was sponsored by South Korean Prime Minister Lee Nak-yeon.
Major General AlHamoud attended the opening of the International Police Expo 2019, which showcased the latest electronic devices, systems, policing missions and artificial intelligence systems that were developed to contribute to raising the efficiency of police operations. The Director General of the Korean Police Major-General Min Gap Ryong received Director of Public Security Major General Fadhel Al-Homoud, where they discussed ways to enhance police and security cooperation between the two friendly countries in the fields of training and capacity building, transfer of expertise, police experiments and modern technology, especially the experience of smart police services, and open new horizons for cooperation frameworks between the country
