Major General Al-Hamoud: "The One Body" to promote the concept of social solidarity in Ramadan
The Director of Public Security, Maj. Gen. Fadel Al-Hamoud, launched the "One Body" initiative in order to promote the concept of social solidarity among the members of the same society on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan.
Maj. Gen. al-Hamoud said in an interview with the Public Security Radio on Monday that the initiative comes from the words of our prophet Muhammad peace be upon him "like believers in their prayers and compassion and sympathy like the body if a member complained to him the rest of the body to keep up and fever." Implementation of the directives of the Supreme Commander of the Jordanian Armed Forces, His Majesty King Abdullah II, to touch the needs of citizens, and his constant calls for the need to channel energies for good and benevolence translation of the values of Islam tolerant.
"We look forward to meeting the needs of some of our fellow citizens, and to serve our citizens, who deserve to provide them with all the services they deserve."
He pointed out that the Public Security Directorate has been entrusted with the law to protect lives, symptoms and property from the consolidation of the concept of community police.
Al-Hamoud said police services are no longer limited to the traditional policing services of tracking the perpetrators of crimes, arresting them and turning them to justice. Police services are extended to many areas, including social fields, to the concept of comprehensive security in its broad sense.
