Public Security Director opens the specialized training workshop for protection, inspection and biodiversity at Ajloun
Public security director, Maj.Gen. Ahmad Sarhan Al Faqih, opened the specialized training workshop for inspection, protection and biodiversity at Ajloun in the Royal Academy for Environment Protection. The workshop was organized in cooperation with the Royal Society For The Conservation of Nature . the workshop was attended by D.r Falah Swalmyyen, representatives of agencies concerned and the representative of Germany Raydable Foundation.
Al-Faqih affirmed that the training workshop was held in conjunction with the royal directives to give the environmental sector a great attention and fight against unjust attacks on natural reserves and forests. He stressed the importance of activating the legislations and developing them by providing specialized competencies capable of working in partnership with all official and private institutions in order to protect our environmental resources.
Maj. Gen. Al Faqih added that the implementation of the laws, regulations and instructions is required to keep in line with the scale of infringements on the environment and natural reserves, noting that the compliance with this requires the implementation of the use of modern methods to keep up with unjust attacks. PSD provided unmanned aircraft equipped with remote cameras to detect and monitor the environment and natural reserves
Public security director praised the staff-members of the Royal department for environment protection for their efforts to protect natural reserves and forests to prevent those who practice the unjust attacks on environment using the latest available equipments. He appreciated the role of the Royal Society For The Conservation of Nature for working side by side with PSD for the initiatives aiming at raising the awareness of the importance of natural and environmental resources.
The chairman of the Royal Society For The Conservation of Nature, Eng. Khaled Al Erani said that the royal society continued its fruitful cooperation with PSD and all concerned agencies in protecting environment and raising the national awareness to save the components of natural resources. Eng. Erani appreciated the role of the royal department for environment protection , noting that the royal society puts all available to support the personnel of the royal department to develop their skills at environmental domain.
