Today, the Tourism Committee in the upper-house headed by Al-Ain, Eng. Abdul Hakim Al-Hindi, visited the King Hussein Bridge and Sheikh Hussein Crossing, to observe the procedures and services provided to travelers departing and coming from the West Bank through these vital crossings.

During the visit, the delegation was briefed on the most prominent comprehensive security and humanitarian services provided by the department to passengers within frameworks of coordination and cooperation with all relevant authorities, in a way that contributes to overcoming obstacles facing users of these crossings.

Alhindi engineer indicated that this visit comes as a continuation of the visits made by the committee based on the great interest of His Majesty King Abdullah II in the tourism sector, as it is one of the most important sectors of the national economy, noting the necessity of these field visits to see the reality of the services provided, and to consider the challenges to be presented to them. The executive authority is through the Speaker of the Senate.

The chairman and members of the committee appreciated the efforts made by the Public Security Directorate through the Bridges Security Department to provide the necessary facilities for travelers who use these crossings, by providing all capabilities for the continuity of services provided to visitors to the Kingdom.
