Today, the Department of Correction and Rehabilitation Centers celebrated the anniversary of ALKarama and Mother's Day, through a ceremony attended by inmates and their families.

The celebration included a number of events, activities and performances aimed at promoting national values and family cohesion among inmates and their families, enabling inmates to engage in life safely after the end of their sentences.

This celebration is the start of a community program that was initiated by the Department of Correction and Rehabilitation Centers, and includes a number of Ramadan Iftars for inmates and their families, and a number of events and activities such as product exhibitions.

The celebration was held in the presence of the Assistant Director of Public Security for Judiciary, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the National Center for Human Rights, the Director of the Department of Correction and Rehabilitation Centers and a number of representatives of official institutions and civil society institutions.
