Yesterday, the rescue cadres of the Civil Defense and the Aqaba Police dealt with a report stating that a vehicle with two people was stuck after it was hit by torrential rains in the Al-Shamiya area in the Aqaba Governorate.
Public Security Directorate indicated that the Civil Defense and Aqaba Police teams responded to the incident and worked to save one person, while they continued to search throughout last night for the other person.
The Public Security Directorate renewed its warnings not to approach the torrents and valleys and not to cross them, whether on foot or in vehicles.
