Public Security Directorate warned citizens today of very cold weather, which will lead, with the late night hours, to the formation of frost over the highlands and desert areas, the formation of fog, and the appearance of clouds at low heights.

The Directorate called to be aware due  the rain and snowfall which may prompt some people to leave by vehicle or on foot, especially in areas that have witnessed snowfall.

The Directorate stressed the need to be careful while driving due to the risk of slipping, or low visibility due to fog.

 PSD indicated to the necessity of safe use of fireplaces, not leaving them burning when sleeping, not leaving them unattended, checking them, and ventilating houses from time to time.
