Public Security Directorate signed a memorandum of understanding with the German Jordanian University with the aim of developing youth leaders and immunizing them in a manner that serves the security and safety of the community, in the presence of the Assistant Director of Public Security for management and Manpower, Brig. Dr. Mutasim Abu Shttal and University President Dr. Alaa El-Din Al-Halhouli.

Brig. Abu Shatal said that the Public Security Directorate is taking promising strategic steps in order to combat extremist ideology and immunize young people through the Community Peace Center, indicating that the Directorate is working continuously to deepen cooperation with universities and all institutions of the local and international community, in a manner that ensures the promotion of the concept of a culture of community peace among all segments of society.

The Assistant for management  and Manpower explained that Public Security Directorate takes the Royal directives in this field as an approach and a starting point for its projects, and paid close attention to the youth sector by launching a course for future security leaders in the Public Security Directorate, which aims to prepare future security leaders, capable of facing all Challenges and the new security conditions facing them.

For his part, the President of the University expressed his pride in the participatory work with Public Security Directorate, which aims to spread community care, praising the efforts made by Public Security Directorate with all its units in this regard.

It is noteworthy that the MOU includes training courses and scientific workshops, which university students will undergo in order to build their capabilities and increase their awareness of the concept of societal peace and combating extremism, in addition to a set of specialized scientific meetings, which the students will undergo periodically and systematically.
