Public Security Directorate prepared a security plan for dealing with the weather condition to deal with any exceptional circumstances that some regions of the Kingdom may witness in the coming hours and during tomorrow, Tuesday.

Public Security Directorate doubled its operational readiness to maintain the flow of its security and humanitarian services, and to deal with any emergency in light of the expected weather conditions

The Directorate confirmed its readiness to deal with the utmost speed and professionalism with all communications received by the Directorate of Operations and Control and the sub-operations rooms and their cadres deployed in the field.

The Directorate renewed its warning of the expected weather in the coming hours, which may witness high-speed winds, heavy rainfall, and dust storms due to the intensity of the winds, especially in the southern and eastern regions of the Kingdom.

The Directorate also warned of the danger of low horizontal visibility and the risk of slipping on roads, calling for the next instructions to be followed:

Being careful while driving, especially on roads throughout the Kingdom.

Stay away from the sides of valleys and places where torrents form, and not risk crossing them under any circumstances, whether by vehicle or on foot.

Install moving or flying objects, especially on rooftops and in open areas, due to the strong wind speed.

Safe use of heating methods of all kinds, providing proper ventilation for houses from time to time, and not leaving heaters on while sleeping.

Do not hesitate to call the unified emergency number 911.
