Today, the Director of Public Security, Major General AbeidAllah Maaitah, visited the Northern Region Security Command, where he was briefed on the most prominent efforts and duties it undertakes, and the strategic and operational plans that were developed for the years 2023/2025.

Major General Al-Maaitah conveyed the greetings of His Majesty, the Supreme Commander, King Abdullah II to all staff-members of the region's leadership, praising the efforts they make and the services provided to citizens of various formations and units.

PSD director Stressed the need to implement the strategic and operational plans for the years 2023/2025, which were developed for all regions, to improve field work and services provided through police directorates and police stations for citizens.

The director  indicated that public security  is working according to the directives of His Majesty King Abdullah II, the Supreme Commander of Jordan Armed Forces, to achieve the Royal visions by improving and modernizing security and police work systems and services provided through the various public security departments and units.

Major General Al-Maaitah  stressed the need to develop the concepts of community policing and permanent communication with local communities through police directorates and police stations, which enhance partnership with citizens as an integral part of the security process.

The Director of Public Security was briefed by the North Region Security Commander, during which he highlighted the most important plans, efforts made, and work statistics in police directorates, police stations, and other units.
