Today, the Director of Public Security, Major General AbeidAllah Maaitah, visited the Diplomatic Security Command and departments, during which he was briefed on the progress of work, the duties assigned to the command.

Major General Maaitah conveyed the greetings of His Majesty King Abdullah II, the  Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, to the personnel  of the Diplomatic Security, and His Majesty's appreciation for their important and major role in protecting Jordan's guests, diplomatic missions, and the most important government institutions and ministries.

The Director of Public Security stressed the importance of the role played by the command around the clock and the efforts made, indicating to the provision of the necessary administrative and logistical support to enable the command’s personnel  to carry out their duties according to the highest levels.

Major General Al-Maaitah also was briefed by the unit commander, on the most important tasks and duties the command’s undertakes to ensure protection for embassies, diplomatic attachés and government departments.
