Major General Al-Maaitah praises the security efforts during the weather conditions and the level of coordination between the directorate's formations

The Director of Public Security, Major General AbeidAllah Maaitah , visited the Central Region Command, where he was briefed on the most prominent efforts and duties it undertakes, and the operational plans that were developed for the years 2023/2025.

Major General Al-Maaitah conveyed the greetings of His Majesty, the Supreme Commander,His Majesty  King Abdullah II to all personnel  of the region's command, praising the efforts made by the Public Security Directorate with all its units and formations, during the recent weather conditions and the level of coordination and teamwork between the components and units of the Directorate that appeared in the field.

PSD director Stressed the need to implement the strategic and operational plans 2023/2025, which were developed for all regions, to improve field work and services provided through police directorates and police stations for citizens.

He indicated to the working according to the directives of His Majesty, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, King Abdullah II, to achieve the Royal visions by improving and modernizing police work systems and services provided through the various public security departments.

With regard to the criminal situation, the Director of Public Security warned that dealing with crime, studying it in all its aspects, and developing plans to confront and prevent it falls within the responsibility of regional commanders, police directors, and police stations, taking into account the difference in crime rates and patterns according to geographical differences.

He stressed the need to keep the police directorates and police stations in constant contact with the local communities, each within its jurisdiction, to find out their needs, implement what is possible within the framework of a system, and activate the concepts of community policing that make the citizen an integral part in the security process.

The Director of Public Security was briefed  by the Central Region Security Commander, during which he highlighted the most important plans, efforts made, and work statistics in police directorates, police stations, and other units.
