Today, Saturday, the Director of Public Security, Major General AbeidAllah Maaitah, received the President of Naif Arab University for Security Sciences, Dr. Abdul Majeed bin Abdullah Al-Bunyan, and his accompanying delegation.

The two sides discussed a number of issues of common interest, and ways to enhance cooperation, coordination and exchange of experiences, especially in the scientific and research fields.

During the meeting, Major General Al-Maaitah stressed the deep relationship between the two brotherly countries which were strengthened by His Majesty King Abdullah II, the Supreme Commander of Jordan Armed Forces, and his brother, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz.

Major General Maaitah praised the academic role provided by the university to enhance Arab security work on modern scientific bases, indicating to the importance of the research and academic aspect in developing security strategies aimed at raising the capabilities of the security services and qualifying their the staff-members.

For his part, Dr. Al-Bunyan praised the good reputation enjoyed by the Public Security Directorate at the local and international levels, indicating to the importance of the existing scientific and knowledge relationship between the university and the Public Security Directorate, in a way that contributes to serving Arab security and enhancing its capabilities.
