Today, Public Security Director, Major General AbeidAllah Maaitah, patronized the graduation ceremony of the fifth and sixth patches of students in the Correction and Rehabilitation Centers Diploma Program, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Ahmed Al-Ajlouni, President of Al-Balqa Applied University.

Major General Al-Maaitah congratulated the graduates for obtaining this scientific and professional diploma specialized in the field of dealing with inmates and their rehabilitation and the preparation and implementation of rehabilitation programs, which included legal, security and humanitarian courses, to enrich the knowledge of graduates working in rehabilitation centers.

The diploma aimed to develop the skills of graduates, and provide them with the necessary knowledge to enable them to provide security and humanitarian services to inmates in correction and rehabilitation centers, in accordance with the best international standards and in line with laws, regulations and human rights, and to contribute to qualifying them for positive participation in society after the end of their sentences.

It is noteworthy that this program was held at the Training and Development Institute of the Department of Correction and Rehabilitation Centers, in cooperation with Al-Balqa Applied University, within a continuous participatory approach with universities and educational institutions.

At the end of the ceremony, which was attended by a number of senior public security officers and a number of members of the teaching and administrative staff at the university, Major General AL-Maaitah handed over the certificates to the graduates.
