The diving teams of the Civil Defense managed to rescue three people from drowning in the Dead Sea, after the currents pulled them to 700 meters deeper areas.

PSD spokesman stated that the civil defense divers responded to the incident in the Dead Sea Martyrs Center and were able to reach the people with a water rescue boat and get them out in a timely manner, in coordination with the Royal Navy Forces.

the necessary first aid was provided to the injured, who suffered from fatigue as a result of swimming, and their general condition was described as good and did not require transfer to the hospital.

The spokesman called on the citizens to take the highest levels of caution while swimming in the Dead Sea, and not to venture into depths far from the shore in order to avoid drowning incidents .
