The Director of Public Security, Maj. Gen.Hussein Al-Hawatmeh, met in his office today, the Secretary-General of the Council of Arab Interior Ministers, Dr. Muhammad Koman, where the two parties discussed ways of joint cooperation and coordination between the police agencies  in the brotherly Arab countries.

During the meeting, Maj. Gen. Al-Hawatmeh stressed the importance of cooperation between Arab security agencies  in developing law enforcement mechanisms and upgrading the level of services provided to citizens, through the exchange of experiences and keeping pace with best practices.

Al-Hawatmeh indicated the keenness of the Public Security Directorate in Jordan to enhance means of cooperation between Arab countries, to serve their brotherly peoples, raise the capabilities of their security services and enhance their capabilities in combating crime and.

For his part, Dr. Koman praised the level reached by the Jordan Public Security as an advanced model capable of providing security and police services with efficiency and professionalism.

He expressed his thanks to the Public Security Directorate for their supportive role in maintaining bridges of communication and cooperation with  Arab security strategies, and joint Arab action aimed at enhancing the security of brotherly Arab countries.
