Northern Badia Police Directorate

In the year 1930, Al-Mafraq Badia district was formed, and it was then called the Badia Al-Mafraq police station. In 1967, it was renamed to (Northern Badia Region Command), in 2004, it was renamed to (Al-Mafraq Badia Police Station), and in 2006, it was renamed to (Command of Al-Mafraq Badia) and in 2011 it was renamed to (Northern Badia Region Command)

In 2017, some public security units were restructured, including the Royal Badia Police Command, and three police directorates were established under the Royal Badia Police Command, including the Northern Badia Police Directorate.

The Northern Badia Police Directorate has a number of police stations and units, which are:

  • Umm Al-Jamal Badia police station, which has police points (Badiya Sabha Police Station, Northern Badia Hospital Police Station).
  • Al-Safawi Police Station.
  • Sama Sarhan Police Station.
  • Al-Manara Police Station, and it hasthe follwing police points, which are (Badia police point, Al-Qattin police point, Badia Deir Al-Kahf police point).
  • Badia Al-Ruwaishid police stations, and it has police points (central Badia police point, Badiat Al-Habr police point, Makqat police point, Anqa police point)
  • The Northern Badia Emergency Units, with three companies folowed to them, namely (Umm Al-Jimal Emergency Company, Al-Ruwaishid Emergency Company, and Al-Safawi Emergency Company).

 

Among the duties of the Northern Badia Police Directorate are the implementation of all orders and instructions issued by the Regional Security Command, the provision of distinguished police services to service recipients, the development of police and security action plans that emanate executive plans for prevention and combating crime, the periodic evaluation of police and security action plans and the necessary amendments in their regard. Strengthening the system of knowledge, communication, creativity and innovation in individual and institutional work, optimal use of available human and material resources, guidance and supervision of all attached Public Security units, strengthening partnership and cooperation with security agencies and official institutions, and maintaining communication, cooperation and social responsibility roles with service recipients and the local community.
